Kidderminster bus station Thursday 7 December 2017.

Diamond and other operators buses pictured in Kidderminster bus station Thursday 7 December 2017. Diamond Dart 30931 VX54 MUO ex First 42890 was my transport from Worcester to Kidderminster, it had an uncharacteristically very jerky gearbox and noisy transmission which may have been a worn differential.

Here are a few more photographs taken at Kidderminster bus station on Thursday morning 11 January 2018.

Dennis Dart Plaxton KP54 BZA is pictured about to work route 42 over to Redditch via Bromsgrove. This ties in with the comments by Mr SEVERNLINK in the above topic 'Diamond in and around Bromsgrove'.

The same bus is seen much later in the day at Redditch bus station about to work back to Kidderminster having completed a route 43 to Bromsgrove and back in the interim time. I travelled on this bus and found it to be a good performer which was very clean inside, the only fault was a noisy transmission above about 35 MPH, believed to be the differential which has always been a weak point with this mark of Dart. It was, however, much nicer than the ride from Worcester on 303 in rattle-box MAN Plaxton Centro KX08 HMY which has very harsh jarring suspension!
