And here is a more general overview of the threatened service withdrawals in Kidderminster and Redditch (30 routes mentioned in Worcestershire) from the BBC as per link below;

I find it almost inconceivable that the 52 and 52A are to be withdrawn on 28 August 2022.
Where have all the passengers disappeared to? I remember when it was the X33 and loaded well from Kidderminster to Bromsgrove and really filled up in Bromsgrove for Redditch. All the return journeys seemed to carry well back to Bromsgrove too. Sad when you realise that the population of Redditch is close to 90,000, Bromsgrove nearly 37,000 and Bromsgrove District 94,000. Just the Redditch and Bromsgrove totals are about equal to Worcester and Malvern combined!

Hope Worcestershire County Council can step in and save the ailing routes in the short-term and passenger numbers pick up during the school holidays. Public transport is crying out for a Government sponsored national campaign spread over all forms of media, reversing Boris's Covid advice of 'don't use the bus and train use the car' by letting people know bus and train travel is safe and a much more environmentally way to travel than by using a car.

Its coming down to the wire now, operators can not make any more "savings" and the powers that be don't seem to want to put any more money forward . So no more 52/a and more cars on the road . . . .

I'm absolutely flabbergasted at the impending withdrawal of the 52 / 52A. I use these routes a lot between Bromsgrove and Redditch and also between Bromsgrove and Kidderminster. I've never been on one that isn't at least half full. It's a core trunk route connecting Kidderminster - Bromsgrove - Redditch. I'm absolutely disgusted that it's earmarked for withdrawal. I've just about given up with the sorry pathetic show that public transport in Worcestershire has become.

Another baffled customer here. I live on the 52 route at the Kidderminster end and agree that the loadings seem pretty good, the trips around college times in particular can be full. There are some late trips which seem empty however, so I can see those going. I travel often on a Saturday out along the A448 for a walk or pint somewhere along the route and often they use a 28 seater which is too small capacity!

And when I took a trip a couple of weeks ago to Bromsgrove and Redditch the 52 seemed busy between the two towns, but the 52A did seem quiet so I can understand that being at risk.
