New Coaches On Order

Along with 500 others on ten coaches, I attended the launch of Johnsons new holiday brochure at the National Memorial Arboretum yesterday.
During the presentation, director John Johnson revealed that two new coaches had been ordered for delivery next April. He didn't say what make but the recent intakes to the coach fleet have been Scanias.

Many Johnson's coaches in Worcester over the last few days for the Worcester University Graduation Ceremonies at the Cathedral. I didn't get a chance to get any photos, sorry.

Earlier in the week, one of them got stuck, - in All Saint's Road, where there were already roadworks closing one lane -- -- you can imagine the chaos behind it
Luckily, the poor driver coaxed it back into action after about 15 minutes, and before the start of the PM rush-hour.

I now understand that due in service by 1st April are one new 37 seat Yutong and a 63 seat Scania Finesse coach for the private hire fleet and two club class 49 seat Scania Finesse coaches for holidays and excursions.
