Herefordshire's Rural Buses

Some of you may be aware that the MP for Hereford + South Herefordshire - Jesse Norman - is tipped as likely to be the new BUSES minister.
I also THOUGHT I read somewhere that he is keen to halt the decline of rural bus services ( - But I cannot find any reference to that, now).
Linking-in to the DRM/420 thread -- I think that the government should pay for the training of bus drivers.

Part of the responsibility also includes highways/roads etc. He has been Hereford MP for a number of years. If you could see the state of some of Herefords roads it may give you a clue how well he is going to do the job!

The bottom of Alyestone Hill springs to mind. It's a major road into the City yet it looks like a rally stage. It really is in a shameful state. I always thought Worcester roads were bad, but going to Hereford reminds me how lucky we are!

Par for the course I think. They'll say anything before being elected or appointed to high office. However, I'll bet there'll be money coming the way of bus services in Northern Ireland, now that the DUP are in charge.
