Will Eastern European students and labourers come to the UK for the short term harvest period with all the problems of Covid and the botched Brexit 'deal' necessitating hard to obtain short-term entry visas, where free access to and from all EU countries previously applied? Much of last year's crops rotted in the fields and on the trees for lack of suitable labour if the press/media reports are correct.

Regret I was unable to find any definitive articles on the net to confirm the situation in 2021.

Have any members accurate up-to-date information on this costly farming crisis?

The 417 services on Saturdays are busy, but don’t quite warrant a double decker.

I would imagine that with Brexit and Covid there aren't as many pickers as in previous years.
