Autumn service changes ??
Re: Autumn service changes ??
For once not the fault of First... The printers normally used went into liquidation between the order being placed and the timetables being printed. An alternative supplier had to be found in a hurry.

How come belmont/ Malvern Vale area be losing buses
Also company say making it more better for people to understand when the got x43 buses now and people who board from retail park on 44 bus will have to check if it’s going to serve Malvern Vale
Also people who get bus in Albert park road on there return trip form like Great Malvern people will have to walk from Belmont area. And why is it always this area of Malvern suffer the bus cuts and no where else do

Just seen one of the ‘Barbie’ darts in Drakes Broughton with about 20 drivers on board being taught the route for the new 50’s services!

I believe forum member "Red Midland" is taking class today. He was hoping for a poor turnout so he could get home early. Sounds like he will be disappointed

Just gone past again in opposite direction
Re: Autumn service changes ??
Well that was the first weekday of the new services, and I spent most of the day in key locations to try to "suss" it all - - especially the DD usage.
The highlights for me were - a DD on the X50, approaching Crowngate c.0835, and a DD on the 333 - Crowngate dep.14.35 to Upton.
..... AND, at last, the DD off the PM 365, is not needed back at Crowngate until c.17.05 - the 32 to Baynhall.
The low point, was that the service signs on the stands had not been changed (!) - - however, all the timetable booklets were available (except the HerefS), and all the staff in high-viz yellow, were friendly and helpful.
All the vehicle destination displays had been updated as well - -
the only one that I saw that was faulty was on 32067, and wouldn't work until the bus was put into gear OR only when the platform doors were closed !
I hope that the changes to the 38/X38, and the 44 will work well, and that the customers will get used to them -
perhaps just a loss of buses and convenience at certain times ???
