New BUS STOP markings in Grange Avenue.

Post by TimBrown » 09:29 Sunday 29th November 2020

I was pleased to see BUS STOP road markings and 'NO STOPPING except buses' restrictions have been added to the Grange Avenue bus stop earlier this week. Then I received a cryptic e-mail from retired bus driver and enthusiast Gordon Smith saying there was a very basic problem. Can you spot what it is?

More or less what Gordon said! Next question is; do I wait on the bus stop flag or walk to the far end of the road markings; also where do you reckon most drivers will pull up now?

I would follow the markings as both a driver and passenger, but you can guarantee the second in line will ignore you and wait by the flag!
