SIX double-deckers in use on the 44, as I type, - if the bustimes.org tracker is to be believed !!
-- including 33404 in Midland Red livery, - which I find pleasing to see during these strange and "uncomfortable" times !!

I haven't seen anything else other than a DD on the 44 since services started to increase again.

Anyone interested should perhaps take a look at this complicated mess !!

I think the timing of the merger of First Midlands and First South Yorkshire could be "disastrous", bearing in mind the workload caused by the pandemic.

I hope First Midlands will make sure they have enough vehicles and staff, so as not to lose any schools and college work to "hungry" competitors !!!

According to the tracker ( - and the map / GPS trace) a StreetDeck did the last 363 this evening, - I'd like to think this was made necessary by the number of Xmas shoppers !!

Jingle Bells !! :)

According to the tracker, a DD has been used on the short X50 today, -- if true, it's the first time on a Sunday that I know of !

If I had looked at the tracker earlier, I would have changed my daily walking route to the London Road to check it !! :D

Saw two StreetDecks in Bromsgrove Bus Station at the same time on Sunday which was a bit of a surprise.
