Revised 37 route Monday 24 April 2017.

Post by TimBrown » 16:33 Monday 24th April 2017

Here are some shots of the first bus of the day at 06-43 on the revised 37 route which now omits Bevere Drive, runs to the end of Grange Avenue and makes a left turn into Ombersley Road to serve the new development at the Green Lane turning point terminus. The sky was heavily overcast and light levels very low so camera working overtime to record the event, hence the pixellated shots (that's my excuse!).

Thanks Tim for the photos, - I look forward to seeing the twice a day Grouble-Grecker doing that left-turn !
When the DD12s were brand-new, and the weather was warm, I could hear the tyres "squirming" as they went up the hill to Green Lane !

I ran a late afternoon journey and I'm pleased to say I remembered to go the new route, but it caught out at least one of my passengers who thought I'd missed the turning... She got off at the reinstated stop near Tim's house muttering to herself, and after waiting time at Green Lane I passed her walking up Ombersley Road towards the new estate.
