Many thanks for all the info. I have always found some of the more random workings interesting. Some of the Centro tendered work that Midland Red had in the late 90's always intrigued me too, the odd journey on cetain routes here and there.

Adam, nobody else has said it, but the legroom in those buses was totally inadequate for anyone above 5 foot tall and the shrunken ex Jersey mini-Darts were much worse - even tiny women had to sit sideways.

Rumour has it that Caetano means 'dwarf' in Portuguese, as Snow White knows only too well!

Quite agree, the legroom was awful and i am only 5' 9'' and had to sit nearly sideways.
