Revised Timetables from c.21/7/2019

Now shown on the First Worcestershire website, - and so far I've not spotted anything important,
except that they are all shown to expire early October, - which is unusual, as that is not school half-term holiday.

The 31/ 31A becomes the 31 / 31U.

Timetables shown for the first time are the AST3 (Ledbury school contract),
and the S55.

The 35 timetable claims it's the "Yellow Line" still !!

-- Have I missed anything ??

It's a shame that 'Revised' when applied to timetables doesn't really mean 'increased', unlike with fares

Having Looked at this 31/31U timetable, the 31U dont exist it still shows 31A

also there is no service updates on the update page so i think this may of been a mistake or its to tell every one that in october some one else will be running thows services lol

A different version of Forthcoming Timetables has now appeared on the website !!

The 31 has been corrected, and the 35 has had the Yellow Line changed to Nimrod !

The expiry dates remain as early October, but all the school services and journeys (timetables) have been removed.

I wonder what's going on !

The reason why the timetable changes are starting in October, is the same reason why the 44B to Ledbury isn't running this year - someone forgot to register the services in time!!!

Its actually really tragic how a big established company like first can forget to register services, i home whoever purchased Worcester from first is not this badly mismanaged!

The latest forthcoming timetables are on the First Worcestershire website -- for early September until early October 2019.
There is a new S5 between Pershore and BEO school, and, S1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 50 timetables show an early finish variation, for the first time.

The 31N shows some additional late evening journeys for the uni.

I haven't spotted any other changes (yet) !

Interesting. I wonder wether the S5 will require a Double deck vehicle...If so, maybe it will be used on certain X50 or S51 journeys either side to reduce dead running to/from depot ;)

Also, it seems the first time in a while where services have been increased instead of cut back - regarding the extra night buses (31N) :)

Agreed !!
Unfortunately, my GUESS is that the S5 is unlikely to be a DD, as First previously ran an S5 between the same two places, and I THINK it was lightly loaded. (Elgar Coaches also ran it for a while IIRC).
Also, I'm not aware of any expansion of class rooms at the BEO school, which is "just round the corner" from my house.
However, there is new housing in Pershore and Drakes Broughton, and BEO is (or was) a popular choice for the parents, and the new S5 route appears to avoid problem trees and low bridges, and so, as FMR could really do with an extra "spare" DD, we might get lucky.
Another consideration is possibly that IF there are going to be more early (school) finishes (now shown in the timetables for BEO and Nunnery Wood schools) that a DD [umight[/u] be needed on those occasions (?)

Also, I have often seen (or have travelled on) X50 single-deckers that are nearly full, at various times of day, and I am hoping very much that First have been working on plans to take advantage of apparent growth potential along the route.
