Disrupted services

Post by DD12 » 14:22 Thursday 24th January 2019

Looking on the First Worcestershire website, I see that there were problems with certain services yesterday:-

The 35 + 38 would be "disrupted" -- no reason given.

Also, certain journeys of the 44 and 144A "would not run, due to unforeseen circumstances".

Does anyone know any facts about this please ??

(Adam, I "excuse you" if you don't answer !! )

You certainly are Sir !

(You've "done your bit" for Worcester's bus passengers, -- and "more than your bit" for us on here, - - thanks ! )

Sounds distinctly like a lack of driving staff to me!

Continuing (harmful) disruption unfortunately.

Any more info about this anyone ?

IF this is caused by a shortage of drivers, can any of our driver-members (and ex-drivers) make suggestions for reducing driver "turnover" please ??

(I consider bus driving in a place like Worcester to be extremely difficult).

We are short of drivers. I'm on the three day rota, working Thursday to Saturday next week, and I am working two of my rest days next week, I could work 13 out of 14 days (the legal maximum) if I wanted to, but I would like a life!
