Well the colour scheme suits Upton nicely as I saw last night, so maybe it'll look good in Malvern too

Or tidy up the area half way up the road to British Camp - and make sure the sign is clear

A nice low shot just for MattW. Not exactly on the Salt Road, but it's the best I can get on my rota!

I see a dent on the lower front panel!
Talking of dents how is 69449 coming along after it's recent accident?

P.s I'm not surprised that one of these Salt 'Road' buses has already ended up on the Herefordshire routes!

69449 has gone away to be fixed.

The Salt Road bus was used on the 1705 departure on Monday evening due to high passenger numbers. I arrived in the Solo to find 30+ people waiting. It seems there was an event at The Fold in Bransford that everyone wanted to go to. That bus was parked up waiting to return to the depot at the time, so why not!

Travelled along the Salt Road today to Brum and back and got a Streetmax both ways. :) I have to comment on the differences between the two buses , into town I had 47520 which shook , rattled and rolled its way along and also had a distinctive thud and jolt with every gear change. :o The return journey was on 63360 which had none of 47520's problems and went well - to be fair , 47520 shifted well also. The return trip did not go completely "smooth" as an RTA near Northfield Fire Station resulted in a diversion "around the houses" , luckily two passengers on board knew the way round and advised the driver - who I have to say acted in a professional manner throughout our "excursion". The one bonus was a quicker than normal run through the Longbridge area as a good percentage of the rush hour traffic was stuck well back behind us.

I am told that work on 69449 has finished except for parts relating to the heaters which are on order from WrightBus. With any luck it should be back at Worcester sometime this week, at which point 44514 will be going in the opposite direction to be fixed. That’s going to be a big job as the forward chassis crossmember is visibility bent, and the floor under the driver’s cab has been pushed upwards several inches.

And while we’re on the subject of bent buses, Worcester depot has finished work on StreetLite 63358, except for a few parts that are coming from WrightBus...

I wonder if 44514 will get the fuschia treatment at the same time.
