Don't forget people, the launch events start tomorrow in Birmingham.

I'll be at the Birmingham event, so I hope to see you there!

Not sure if the "Salt Road" branding is a bit too clever for the average Brummie!! Wonder how often drivers will get "Do you not go down the Bristol Road any more then??"

The new flag signs were in noted in Bromsgrove yesterday, as mentioned there is no mention of the route number 144/144a. Also the signs give no mention of other routes that use the same stops . . . . . And , being a bit picky here but it would have been nice if when the new sign went up at stand one in Bromsgrove bus station that the tree branches that obscure the sign from the south side had been trimmed back at the same time. :D

On the First Web page linked to above, I was intrigued by the description of Birmingham as "ballsy"!

I made it to the Birmingham event around midday yesterday and found it surprisingly busy, which was good! 69450 was parked up and there was also a First gazebo and quite a few folks with 'Salt Road' T shirts approaching people, handing out fudge and leaflets, and talking about the service. Not to mention the two Roman gladiators in attendance!

The fine weather meant Birmingham was every bit as busy as usual, so there were alot of people passing through - and stopping to have a look.

Well done to all involved.

Yes it is certainly taking it’s time! Has it been sent back to Leicester by mistake or something?

They all get sent to Leicester then we go and fetch them. It has fallen victim to the unique seat moquette and the fact that it takes time to manufacture a new batch of a custom design.
