So, as mentioned elsewhere on this forum, Worcester will be running a couple of excursions during the school summer holidays.
All the necessary paperwork has been sent away to the relevant authorities so I can now give out a few more details....
There will be two routes operated, Service E1 and Service E2.
Both are intended as excursions so will be very Limited Stop, and will have their own unique ticketing system. They will only run during the the school Summer Holidays.
Service E1
Tuesdays and Thursdays only: Worcester - Gloucester - Cheltenham
Service E2
Wednesdays and Fridays only: Worcester - Droitwich Spa - Feckenham - Stratford upon Avon - Warwick.
First Worcester Summer Excursions
Re: First Worcester Summer Excursions
They sound good, although I'm intrigued that Gloucester is being served before Cheltenham.
Re: First Worcester Summer Excursions
A welcome initiative and I hope it pays off.
The E1 reminds me a bit of the Sunday Evening 'mystery' trips from Malvern in the 1950's. They always went to Gloucester and usually the same pub, the mystery being which of the two or three routes would they take to get there but the regulars wouldn't have any other destination.

...I agree !!
...I approve !!
Re: First Worcester Summer Excursions
I’m guessing this because of the recent results published by FirstGroup...
Summer Excursion Routes E1 and E2 have been cancelled. Similar excursion routes planned by Potteries and Leicester have also been given the axe.
