...As warned in-advance by Adam, the Leicester StreetDeck seemed to struggle a bit, going-up Fromes Hill - - I forgot to ask him if their engines/ transmissions were programmed differently to the Worcester examples (?)...
No idea if they different spec other than being fitted with Air Conditioning, which isn't fitted to the Worcester examples.

It should be noted that on Thursday it didn't struggle on any of the hills, as noted by "Red Midland" who was a passenger on a few journeys that day, yet by Saturday it had become notably slower on the hills and even on the flats.

In Leicester they only ever run around the City and I guess running mostly flat-out between Worcester, Hereford and Hay continuously for 3-day took it's toll.

PS, thanks for the can of pop!

As usual a number of ex-Worcester buses are out and about in Hay. Vario 52506 is currently in the coach park next to my 35159, and I saw 53046 heading through town earlier. Last year 53045 was also here but I haven’t seen it yet. One of the drivers says a Solo had a rear-end shunt on day one so it may be that one. Should be fixed by the end of the week, I’m told.

Were the ex TWM solos still to be seen in use on the Hay Park and Ride services by Herdman Coaches, or have these finally bitten the dust?

Yes they are. As far as I can tell the line-up is the same as last year except ex-First 53045 is still missing.

Weather has been rather rubbish this year so I haven't bothered taking many photos.
