363 via motorway

Post by AdamH » 12:56 Thursday 29th September 2016

Due to the road between Shuthonger and Tewkesbury being closed all week, the 363 has been running via the M50 and M5. This is only between 0800 and 1700 as the road is open at other times.

Need someone to stand on one of the M5 bridges just north of j9 to get a photo!

I thought it had been quiet around here!

No break downs (yet), but the roadworks haven't finished so it looks like we will still be using the motorway on Monday and maybe Tuesday... It seens they don't do roads on Saturdays so it's the normal route today.

The road closure overran tonight so both the evening buses had to run via the motorway. Luckily I had 67699 on the 1750 journey so I wasn't restricted to 50mph and almost managed to keep on time.

In theory, everything should be back to normal tomorrow.
