Not as far as I know.

69449 seems to have already established itself as the problem child. It arrived with a long list of faults which is why it was so slow going into service, and drivers don't like taking it as the heating seems rather random.

Saw a green Volvo on my local 32 today, for the first time -- very smart !!

-- I would like this livery for all our Euro 6 buses !

I have no problem with these being on the wrong services in their "half-dressed" green livery and with their crystal-clear destination screens --

but when they are decorated for the 144, they may appear to be less satisfactory when they wander (?)
- when buses are decorated for specific services, I would prefer it to be done in the form of an advert, or promotion for those services, rather than implying that "This bus is is on the 144".
Does anyone know if the vinyls etc. have been ordered ?

Of course, if all the green Volvos were to be run from an outstation, at Droitwich, Wychbold, or Bromsgrove, say, - then they might be more likely to stay on the correct services.

A rather shiny "BZJ" noted in Bromsgrove late morning today. :)

No major failures so far, but 4 of them have had the heating system fail on the journey from Leicester, one has needed a new fuel pump and a couple of them have managed to get scraped and dented.

With only two more to come, I am wondering if the branded 144 re-launch will happen around the weekend of March 24th - to coincide with other service changes ??
- but no service changes have been registered for the 144.

I was asked to make myself available some time in “mid-March” for the launch, but I’ve not heard anything since.

That's a very bad sign -- we have already discussed their heating and ventilation system on here. ( .... only one opening window vent per side)

"Long-distance" buses and coaches that are freezing cold in winter and boiling hot in summer, due to faulty heaters, have been a problem ever since I first started using them - 60 years ago !!

-- with a lot of luck this time it will be down-to just air-locks and coolant levels ?? ( - NO, I don't have ANY vehicle maintenance knowledge - - "just hoping" !)
