In the assumption that the green buses would be fully branded in time, I put in a request to take one the Wythall on Sunday 1st April. While the request has been granted, it also came with the news that the branding will not be done until the following weekend :(

Looks like there will be a half-dressed Volvo at the museum on April Fool's Day!

Just seen "BZN"/69459 in service , no branding or external fleet number and legals printed on paper in front side window , guess it has been pressed into service at short notice !! 8-)

11 out of 12 are now at Worcester. The last one has been delayed and won’t be here for a few weeks.

We are approaching a month now and with it looking like we are waiting for the last one to appear before full branding gets applied , am I the only one to think that the "I'm half dressed / full livery soon" situation has dragged on much too long ?? I travelled to and from Brum yesterday on "green 'uns" and most 144 working had these vehicles on so why the delay ?? One other point as mentioned earlier , both buses seemed to have the heating on full blast and even with both side windows open on the one trip it was rather sweaty . . . . Does the driver has any control on the temperature or is it a case of either on or off ?? On the plus side , both buses looked, sounded and went well and were relatively rattle free. :)

I believe the full look will be arriving over this weekend, unless there are more delays that I haven’t been told about. The last vehicle is a Thorntons waiting parts and will probably be a few more weeks yet.

I went past the garage about an hour ago, and I couldn't see any new branding on the few "green ones" visible - - but I could only see their fronts and backs, so maybe their sides have been done ??

Also, a few of them might get done "off-site" (?)

Or maybe someone has decided to get the heating / ventilation sorted first (?)
