I'm more worried that we will get 31782 + 85, - - they've recently transferred from South Yorkshire to Potteries, but haven't entered service yet ( - I believe ).

They are 53 plate Alexander bodied B7TLs, and though I like the style, they are in my least favourite "Olympia" livery, same as 32066, and riding upstairs is not as good as the Tridents,
-- I recall the bottom edge of the windows as being higher up in relation to the seats, which implies that the extra 7.5 inches of vehicle height has all gone into upper-deck headroom

(??)

It could just be that she hasn't been in service for around 2 months... Vehicles have a tendency to disappear off fleet lists if they haven't been traced on the tracker for a while (So I have been told)
But, once fixed (if fixable?) she'll likely be straight off to Essex anyway!

There isn't any real need for deckers at the moment, as most school services are not running at the moment, and those that do carry only one or two passengers. Next week, services are being reduced to around 60% of current levels due to the lockdown, so all deckers will probably be sorned.

Thanks to "Winston" on Tony Hunters West Midlands Buses site , it is reported that 33401 and 33405 have gone from First Essex to Ensign bus and onward to Shelton Motors for scrap. I would assume they actually went straight from Essex to the scrap man. :(
