Someone on facebook has posted a photo of two of our Tridents apparently on their way to Essex --
and 33401 + 3 have been removed from the tracker fleetlist for WR / FMR.

I am very sad to be losing the Tridents -- my favourite buses for 16 years

( - I wish they had been going to Cornwall instead, so that I could still see them on holidays).
Very sad news  With the other 3 said to be following soon!
Although, 33404 hasn't been out in a month... Hopefully she will be able to spend her last days 'in service' at WR before her departure!

Yes, thanks Matt, -- have you moved there permanently now, or just holidaying again ??

My favourite DD ride there is Helston - Penzance.

I also did a very nice Western Greyhound DD ride -- Wadebridge - Exeter (510 ?), but I don't know if Stagecoach currently have an equivalent DD route.
:)

Whoops, sorry Matt, - just thought about that question, and perhaps you'd better not answer it !!

It's OK, he's not on an illegal holiday, he moved there fulltime as soon as the first lockdown ended.

Meanwhile, the transfer if the Tridents to Essex has been planed for months, if not years, so it's not like you didn't have time to say goodbye!

Maybe that's the reason. If they can stick to one type it saves a lot of money on training and parts.

That seems logical. Just looked again at a fleet-list for First Essex and they have 32640/1/2. Could they come in the opposite direction ?? Oh , better check to see if they have any Citaro's ! LOL ! :o

Good spot! Along with 32643 from Potteries, that would replace our fleet of 7 older deckers nicely!
Although, I would imagine our Tridents are to replace some of there older 2001/2002 Presidents, so 32640/1/2 probably won’t be available for us. Unless there plan is to ship out there B7TLs to standardise there fleet :?
