Visiting vehicles

Post by DD12 » 20:24 Monday 31st August 2020

A Leicester B7L was at the depot today -- 66311 I believe.

Also, in the garage was an old Volvo saloon which MIGHT have been another B7L, or it might have been one of the "not so old" B7RLEs that have been discussed on here recently.

( - I had left my driving glasses in the car, when I walked past !! :geek: )

Was that 66304 working the first 37 into Worcester from New Inn at 07-22 this morning?

With the increase in school services, and an increase in several other services, including a 10 minute frequency on the 144, they must have been purloined as cover. A couple of weeks ago, four vehicles from Manchester were at Padmore Street, on delivery to the south west, and another four were to follow, to ensure that social distancing can be observed.
I might have some new vehicles to drive when I go back to work on Thursday!

Another bus that has been at the depot for months, but I don't recall it be being mentioned on here, is StreetLite 63379, - no doubt for "engineering" work.

There was a "Steel Link" branded StreetDeck inside when I walked past a day or two ago .....

.... also, the Alexander bodied Daimler Fleetline double-decker 6015 GHA415D ( - Midland Red class DD12), was up on a hoist / hydraulic lift, ( - great to see it getting further attention ).
