You are probably right, and my guess is that our MD will probably want to replace them with much newer DDs anyway, if he can, (and I couldn't complain about that ! )

33043 is in the bodyshop at the moment. It is supposed to have some soldering done, on what I don't know, before being collected by someone from Manchester. I believe it is destined for a college of some description, but I don't think I'll volunteer to drive it there, as the last time I had it, it sounded terrible and appeared to be on its last legs. I will be sorry to see it go however.

I notice this rebrand is only an external lick of paint, it doesn't stretch to a retrim.

53065 is now at Worcester freshly repainted in overall purple livery.

Thats such a good livery but its kind of giving be ‘the braunstone bus’ vibes, the purples are almost identical

Looks great! I’m hoping 53155 which was spotted by someone at WR (ex. potteries) will be the second in the new 31 livery (unless that is not intended for use and it’s withdrawn/broken?) If that’s the case then I guess 53061 or 53062 will be kept and painted instead?

53065 now has it's branding fitted (last night) and it has been confirmed that a second Solo will be done "soon".
