That’s a shame about 53155 as that would go nicely with 53065! Could parts/engine be donated from our 53061/2 to bring it up to scratch like what has previously been done with various solos at Worcester? I guess our engineers have already tried working on her - mechwr26?
53155 has turned out to be a Turkey made from several different donor buses, none of which were really suitable. It does run now but unfortunately whoever decided to rewire it using an unsuitable wiring loom failed to notice that the Mercedes diagnostic socket was missing and there doesn't appear to be anywhere that we can connect any sort of test equipment to it. Its apparently going to be towed back to Stoke....
Thank you Mechwr26 for this information. That doesn't sound good - I had heard that it was not a popular bus in Stoke due to it's poor reliability.
Looks like 53062 hasn't been out in service since Monday (Taken off the 31 at lunchtime) so I would imagine they are now using this as the second Riversider bus - it's possibly gone away for repaint/undergoing repaint prep?

I think they should get a small wheel based darts ether one of 42552-554 or 43875/876 from the potteirs and paint that in to the riversider. Darts were always good for 31's when we had the jersey darts
Im thinking that the 44 should be a Lightblue paint job with malverneer as the brand makes it sound like a mountaineer even thow there not mountains. i think a overall duck egg blue with darker royal blue strips in the same style as the other liverys.
the blues would reprosent the malvern spring water and would give a contrast to the other new livery choices this should be painted to the Street Decks

Matt ! - I'm intrigued by the the Malverneer name !
I frequently walk in the Malverns, and have done for over 50 years, but I have never come across that name before !!
- I've just "googled" it, and there are no links / references to it !
If you have just come-up with the name, I am very impressed indeed !!!

I love the name, but I think if the rear part of the livery was in green it could represent blue skies over the slopes of the green hills.

53062 is off the road as the floors are rotten on it
