66699 is in service today. I didn’t even know it was back from the paint shop, but I caught a 332 into work this morning and it was the bus that turned up for me. Surprisingly full too, for a journey about to get the axe. 😒

Just spotted 53207 in Urban2 livery with Worcester branding being driven by an engineer.

That's interesting -- I expected it to have Village Links branding.

Now that the DRIVERS rota for the Herefs. work is mixed-in with Upton and Pershore and 44s, and some city work, - does that mean that the more of the Herefs. VEHICLE workings are mixed-in, in similar fashion ? -- it would be interesting to compare the latest (mon-fri) bus graph to the one Adam provided for us last October !

(I know that SIZE of vehicles is important on some Herefs. workings).

It's a shame it has not been fitted with the new "Worcester City" logos like the freshly painted Centro's have been!

I know this might of been asked before but I'll ask just in case it hasn't - are the tridents (33401-5) getting the urban 2 fuscia front look?

I don’t have an official answer, but given there age I doubt they will see a repaint - but you never know...

I'd love to see them get a repaint and a retrim -- -- they won't be 15 years old until November, and First issued an edict that all DDs should do 17 years (I believe).

They also do quite a lot of public service around Worcestershire (in addition to schools), so I think they deserve a repaint -- -- they were kept very smart for 7 or more years, but not now -- -- the rear of 33402 looked very grubby the other day.

All of the 54-reg Volvo 'deckers at Potteries have been repainted, so it is possible.

I would like to preserve one -- IE: win the lottery before they are all scrapped !!

That’s a good point, I forgot about Potteries 54 plates! I would imagine our 54 plates will last at least another 3 years as our 51 plates are still in service (except 33043) and they are around 3 years older.
It’s a shame they haven’t been repainted already as it would seem slightly too late if they were to do them now...

33043 is in the bodyshop at the moment. It is supposed to have some soldering done, on what I don't know, before being collected by someone from Manchester. I believe it is destined for a college of some description, but I don't think I'll volunteer to drive it there, as the last time I had it, it sounded terrible and appeared to be on its last legs. I will be sorry to see it go however.
