You might be interested to know Matt, that 66691 now has a full-size rear advert for "THINK BIKE" - I think it might currently be the only WR bus with a full size rear advert (?)
Had the said vehicle yesterday so took this for Matt...

Starting to look tatty. I think they chose 66691 for the advert as it either hides the rust and/or holds the back window in place.

This has had its drivers' seat re-padded recently, so its currently my favourite example to drive as I can sit higher. 8-)

My biggest gripe about these vehicles is the drivers' seat. I prefer a high, commanding driving position and this can be a struggle to achieve in these.

I just like looking down on people

But on a serious note, these modern low-floor buses are no good for the driving position. The older ones were much better for looking over the top of other vehicles are seeing the road ahead.

I've been off work for a few days. Is there any sign of 53049 being back at Worcester yet?

53049 returned from the paintshop today, and is in the bodyshop when I returned to depot at 16.00 receiving vinyls. may be back on the road tomorrow

53049 is indeed back on the road today in the new livery. Looks to be working the 30/31 circuit.

Red Mildland... Your dad is driving. Did he not offer to swap with you?

Work has commenced in the body shop at Worcester on Enviro 67647 (VX54MTF) in preparation for repaint into FirstGroup's 'Urban2' livery.

I think I have just found my candidate for Showbus this year. :D
