Another unexpected sight on the patch today is this white StreetLite, which could be on loan from Wrightbus (and therefore MIGHT see some use in service), or may be just passing through.

Re: SK68TXO
Thank you for sharing this DD12. I'll keep a look out for it on the roads!
I wonder if Worcester is short of vehicles due to possible ongoing problems with the older Citaro's? (As discussed by Tim in another thread) Or like you suggested it could be making a pit-stop while on the way to somewhere else!
It certainly seems funny that this bus has appeared at Worcester since all the recent talk of Worcester's own StreetLite Max's departing in the near future!

Re: SK68TXO
Also, looking at Flickr there are another 2 plain white StreetLites that are On Loan to First South Yorkshire to cover for vehicles that have gone off for warranty work. (These are SK68 TXM/N and there is also TXP which is somewhere with Go-Ahead)

Sister SK68 TXP is currently in use with First Cymru in Swansea
Re: SK68TXO
Word is that it's on loan to Worcester while 35159 is being fixed following a major engine failure. So far it's been used for driver training, not sure if its been used in service yet.
Re: SK68TXO
Thanks Adam !
You may may remember that another StreetDeck got towed down the motorway for major engine work about a year ago -- -- that's not a good omen for the future !
I get the impression that these (4 cylinder ?) Daimler-Benz engines are not up to the job and may have a lot less torque at low revs than was originally claimed ??
(Fromes Hill -- see you soon )
(Also, does anyone know if the fuel consumption of the StreetDecks is good, like the StreetLites ?)
Re: SK68TXO
Thanks Adam
I would say it has not been in public service yet as there is no trace of it on the tracking system, unless it is using a ticket machine from another vehicles or logged in as a different bus.
Re: SK68TXO
Right now, the tracking system is showing "SN68TXN" as being on the 44, and it's also shown on the "main live tracking map" and their FMR fleet list -- -- but I would guess someone has made a typo (?)
- Could it be that we now have SKTXN as well, (as mentioned above), or is it SK68TXO !?

Re: SK68TXO
Interesting, I saw one of the StreetDecks heading towards Pershore on an X50 about an hour ago!
Re: SK68TXO
Thanks for reporting that willr7 -- that's a real oddity on the 17.10 from Worcester to Evesham -- especially as there were only two StreetDecks in service !
In recent times, I have seen an occasional DD used on the short final X50 to Pershore (at least according to the tracking system).
