According to the bustimes.org tracking service, 42892 has been returned to service and is on the 144 heading north, as I type !! -- -- (Or is it being driven along that route by a mechanic, but with a "live" ticket machine ??)
I've been looking at the tracking info / system a lot in recent days and either it is "losing vehicles" (can't see them) or a fair-few are breaking, broken, or "unavailable", -- -- 66695 apparently still not right (?), and frequently two StreetDecks and one trident unavailable -- --
when I went past Padmore Street yesterday, 33043 had moved from the scrap and store area to the workshop, so maybe it will make a come-back
42892
Re: 42892
The number of posts about incorrect vehicle identities suggests a serious flaw in the current tracking - that it appears ticket machines regularly appear to not be fully reprogrammed after being moved!
It would seem logical that management would have this as an important task when a change was made as they would want the data to be accurate given i presume the tracking is being used for more business related things than simply an enthusiasts tracking site
