According to Tony owner of West Midlands Bus Forum the only First double decker's allowed in Birmingham City Centre will be StreetDecks.. The Tridents on National Express have had exhaust traps fitted to them so wonder if it will be same for Worcester Deckers

My understanding is that Birmingham wish to set up a clean air zone which will mean that vehicles not meeting a certain standard will have to pay to enter the area from 2020. As far as I know they will not be banned and there is still another three years before the law comes into effect.

I understand that both Birmingham and Leeds have today announced postponement of the implementation of the Clean Air regulations from early next year blaming "government delays."
