Re: FMR Fleet Movements
A change of plan ? - NEVER !!!
and "intriguing" ? - Yes; I'm excited !! - (my GUESS, is it is to be retained for enhanced services in the Evesham - Pershore - Norton -Worcester corridor - ??)
Re: FMR Fleet Movements
Nothing confirmed yet, but an option being talked about will see some of the Enviro300s sticking around longer than expected. Meanwhile, 67650 was over a pit last night and the engineers still think it's going.
Re: FMR Fleet Movements
66305 is out on the road today, working a short 551 to Pershore followed by the short 382 to Eckington. It was released by the engineers for service late on Monday afternoon but has only been used as spare since then and hasn't been required until now.
Re: FMR Fleet Movements
Change of plan... it's broken down
Re: FMR Fleet Movements
67650 departed for Stoke today.
Re: FMR Fleet Movements
I think it went today, Wednesday Shame to see it leave as I've just rebuilt the engine in it. The E300's are the best buses we have for reliability and are easy to work on and I'll be sad to see them go.
66305 hasn't really seen any action yet as it came to us with a serious lack of power and no oil pressure... a boost sensor swap and a turbo clamp refitted correctly sorted out the power issues but she has no engine oil pressure and we can't use it until the parts we ordered over a week ago arrive.
67664 is one of the Enviros that are staying at Worcester
