Looking around online it appears it hasn’t turned a wheel in service since at least September time!

Looking at the condition of it, I would have said it has been off the road longer than that.

53122 (EO02 NFD) arrived at Worcester today. This is the engine donor for 53207, and as I left the garage earlier the engineers had the engine running and were giving it a good inspection.

On the subject of 53207... While researching the bus over the weekend I noted inconsistencies on the net over its specification. Some list it as 29 seats and others as 31 seats. So I did it the old fashioned way by getting on the bus and counting. It has 31 passenger seats.

Sister vehicles of 53207 still remain in the area, although 53207 ( CN07KZK ) never saw service with Astons Coaches , CN07KZR / S still are with Astons. CN07KZO / P are still local and occasional Hereford visitors as they are with Sargeants of Kington,

They do still have CN07 KZS but KZR left a while back (I think its somewhere in Scottland now) Astons also had CN07 KZH/J for some time.

Change of plan... EO02NFD was the one due to be sent to Worcester, noticed this morning that EO02NFF arrived!

I got the info that 53207 is a Slimline version, from the British Bus First Handbook 2017, but I guess that's wrong, and the info above is correct !

Thanks HA08 !

53207 is definitely a narrow body version.
