Sorry DD. Yes Cummins have been out and diagnosed a failed fuel pump accumulator on 33404. A used pump has been found and is going to be fitted this weekend.
Thank you Mechwr26 !

Went out for a few drinks with the Worcester drivers last night (it was a 50th Birthday party) and I'm told 20611 has entered service early still in RailAir livery, as they have found some work for it. 20202 is still in service but has been demoted to school work... Much to the delight of the school drivers who hate the yellow buses!

My guess is this situation will continue until the second coach arrives, and at that time they will have a spare so the repainting can start.

Meanwhile, I managed to stagger home via the depot (my lift was parked there) and got this photo of both coaches...

Thanks Adam!

I hope the re-paint will still happen as it looks like they’ve added some ‘First’ logos which were not on there before... Hopefully that’s just temporary so people know who the operator is... :?

If FMR have found some EXTRA work for it, I would be grateful if anyone can tell us what that is.
( I expect it to be it on the S55 some of the time [?] )

Sorry to get your hopes up, but I think it's only a short-term rail contract.

Just saw one of the new coaches on the M5 southbound operating a rail replacement service, sadly still not in the new Worcester coach livery

That's answered the question I was going to ask mate thank you, I knew there was rail on today but unsure if FMR had any part of it. Cheers!

IF today's disruption to bus services in + around Worcester has been caused by a shortage of drivers, shouldn't this rail replacement work have been sub-contracted or given to another operator ??

I have also seen a stagecoach rail replacement coach travelling in the opposite direction so I don’t know if they have sub contracted it or if it’s part of a different contract
