Poppies on board

Post by marck » 13:35 Thursday 8th November 2018

Just noticed 47516 with a poppy on the front. Have all buses got these or just selected ones?

Most buses have them, either on the front or on the side by the door. I don’t think there has been a selection process, I think they have just been fitted to whichever buses were there at the time.

National Express seem to do this every year too - they could just leave them there all year round!

They were fitted on Monday at Crowngate by a couple of spare drivers, so most of the fleet were covered.

I hope those picked for this task had had suitable training and a risk assessment had been done.
