MX10DXU must not want to go - it was broken down just outside Powick this morning at about 0815. Engineer arrived with a Streetlite as I drove by!

Latest rumour is that more StreetLites are going, this time to Leicester in time for the start of the Leicester Low Emissions regulations.

If the StreetLites go, what’s going to replace them?

Any one got any idea what we’re likely to be sent/left with in return? I realise for some that more streetlites going isn’t bad news!

One of those situations where a postcode lottery of pollution may well develop as the cities with LEZ clean up and older vehicle transfer/amass in areas where there isn’t zones and/or less affluent areas exist thus older diesel cars on top of the older public transport and commercial.

Out of interest, anyone aware of/able to enlighten others on any plans to improve diesel train emissions other than electrification?

Worcester are expected to receive 11 more Mercedes citaro’s. When and where from is still to be confirmed. ;)

Just seen this on facebook, looks like the eclipses at Leicester have finally got a new livery, albiet not as impressive as the salt road but still quite nice!

Agreed. 44514 looks really good in that livery.
