Canteen Gossip is that two of the newer Citaros will be painted in Salt Road livery,
Well you have got me excited there :D
As much as it's a shame to no longer have the variety of Volvo B7s, Tridents, Enviro 300s and Streetlites, Citaros and Volvo B7RLEs are the best suited second hand vehicles for the 144 in my opinion

Canteen Gossip is that two of the newer Citaros will be painted in Salt Road livery, and the remaining ones will be in Urban 2 livery so that they can be used on 144s
When the Salt Road brand was launched I attended three of the four events and this was stated several times, however I have now seen several documents that reference the vehicle colours and none of them mention a Citaro in Salt Road livery. I believe that plan was dropped in favour of the "Spare Bus" livery.

Anyways, all of the newer citaros have already been delivered so it’s probably not going to happen

Does anyone know where the older (52/03 plate) Mercedes picked up there ‘OIG 694_’ plates? To me it seems a good idea to disguise there actual age (maybe that was the idea...) If that was the case I would presume that WR will keep the plates on too! Please correct me if I am completely wrong with my presumptions! 🤣

When they moved to Southampton they were refurbished and I think they got the plates then.

Does anyone who has been lucky enough to go on them since they’ve been at Worcester know what seats and seat moquette they have. Have the kept the original Mercedes seats that they had or do they have the newer ones like the streetlites. And do they use the leather or the salt road moquette

I don't have the actual answer, but from looking at pictures on this website of the 'Nimrod' and 'Spare Bus' liveried vehicles the driver's seat has what looks like the 'salt road moquette' However, the passenger seats could be different...
