The "Employee Director" was at Crowngate canteen on Thursday and said that the Citaros will be painted in "Elgar" livery for Worcester services, he was however, not able to give details of the colours or scheme.
I'm not sure that ELGAR would have liked to go to Warndon ! ;)

(And I expect Elgar Coaches will "get a sulk on" ! )

Elgar's last home before he died was on the 35 route, on the site that is now Elgar Court (clue is in the title). Although he would have used Service W5 as it was then!

It looks like 64033, 64035, 64042, 64043, and 64044 have been earmarked for the new Service 35 livery.

the new Service 35 livery.
I assume that'll be a mix of weed, Special Brew and grubby kids?

It looks better that I thought it would when I saw the design on paper, and I'm glad Sir Edward's face is now on the side... There original picture left everyone scratching their heads as nobody knew who it was meant to be!

I drove past the depot about half an hour ago and there was nothing of interest on the patch, so maybe it's been hidden somewhere... Or possibly been sent for an MOT as I believe they have all (or mostly) expired during the wait for them to arrive.

Hmmm, not too bad! I personally think it's a shame that they have used pink as the main colour as buses in the new urban 2 livery also have the pink front as standard so the general public may not notice the difference (from the front) if that makes sense the way I've worded it  but overall I think it looks pretty good... I hadn't expected them to start arriving so soon either, I thought it would take at least until Xmas! :D

I wonder how many users of that route under pension age know who Elgar was?

Looks good though, nice simple but classy styling.
