Do we have a date for when the merc's will be in service & will they
be out on Saturdays as well
No date as yet, but once they are out most will be in use Monday to Saturday, and maybe one or two on a Sunday.
Two more are unloading at Padmore Street depot as I type.

Now that it is confirmed that the last 6 Citato’s are to be in the Standard urban 2 livery, I wonder weather they will receive the standard ‘Worcester’ fleet names (like on solo - 53207) OR the newer ‘Worcester City’ logos (like on the newly refurbished centro’s)...
I personally hope that they get the new ‘Worcester city’ logos!

As I was leaving the depot to head down to Crowngate a Vehicle Graphics company arrived and backed their van into the depot. We may have an answer to that question soon.
While on the subject, 53207 was sent to Derby today to have seatbelts fitted. It got their under its own power too!

Fantastic! For some reason I always thought that vehicle graphics was done ‘in-house’ rather than by outside contractors!
So hopefully 53027 will be out in service fairly soon (upon its return)!

Sorry if I’m being dim
but why is 53207 having seatbelts fitted, presumably it will be the only WR solo to have them?

I believe that the 'Village Links' branded Solo (53802) is fitted with seatbelts for school duties in Herefordshire. I think 53207 will act as a 'Spare' for 53802 therefore needing to have seat belts fitted. Please correct me if I am wrong Adam or anyone else who knows!

53802 is fitted with seatbelts for the Much Marcle School contract. When that breaks down the only other vehicle type we can use is one of the Volvo B7 Centros, which are rather large for the narrow lanes around Ledbury. 53207 will be a spare bus for that contract.
It seems they don't hang around is Derby as it's already back at Worcester with seatbelts fitted. Came back with the same engineer that took it over.

Certainly not!
I like the fact that they have installed the new 'white' LED destination displays like they did on the 'Salt Road' volvo's!
Am I correct in saying that this photograph was for the photo shoot?
