64016 is in Crowngate under the watchful eye of the driving school.

I've done my type training on the Mercedes at Crowngate, but not yet had a chance to drive one yet, but it does look well built and the interior has been refurbished to a very good standard.

Assuming that this was 64016 that you are talking about - bmmoboy - the implication is that Worcester could have some 20 year old buses running around in 5 years time !

- I've got no problem with that -- I prefer them to StreetLites "anyday" !!

I didn't get a chance to have a look today, or get a photo, but I did follow it in traffic (very slowly - I think the driver was nervous) and it was running on Trade Plates, so I guess they are not taxed yet. Maybe waiting until the end of the month to get their moneys worth!

Just trying to work out what other operators livery this bus is similar to . . . . :?:
Yarringtons?
Looks more like a Best Impressions reincarnation of Transdev's Pride of the North livery:

Does anyone have a picture of 64021 in the new livery as I am curious to see how the nimrod livery looks on an older citaro

Unfortunately, there does not seem to be many (if any) pictures of the Citaro's on Flickr yet except one of the 'Spare Buses' photographed whilst at Thornton's!
I think it's odd that they decided to put one of the older ones in 'nimrod livery' To me, it would make more sense to use 5 of the 'Newer' type so they all look exactly identical...

Canteen Gossip is that two of the newer Citaros will be painted in Salt Road livery, and the remaining ones will be in Urban 2 livery so that they can be used on 144s
