thats fantastic information thanks , also i spotted a wmpte bus with the registration kox747f on the 193 im thinking this photo was taken before 1976 might this vehicle be operating at lea hall at the time :)

Possibly. Lea Hall took on the 163, 169 and 193 when Moseley Road and Sheepcote Street closed in 1975. If WMPTE 3747 had a blind showing the correct destination, it almost certainly was at Lea Hall at the time and the photo could be dated to some time between 1975 and 1977.

If the blind was blank, it was probably on loan to Moseley Road, Sheepcote Street or perhaps Sutton.

hello lads ,at what times did sutton garage do their duties on routes 163 169 and 193 i know digbeth and sheepcote street did duties and what was the weekly driving hours in 1969 thanks .

I'll have a go at answering the routes part of your question.

I don't know when Sutton garage started to participate on the 163, 169 and 193 - maybe from when the services started in 1967-68. Sutton also participated in other Chelmsley Wood ara services, such as the 194. This continued into PTE days and I believe it ended when Sheepcote Street and Moseley Road garages closed in late 1975.
