Re: on demand buses for Bromsgrove
I was meeting up with some friends in Birmingham one evening last week and needing a bit of flexibility I opted for the train rather than the 144.It's about a 35 minute brisk walk from mine to the station so thought I'd give the on demand bus a try especially as the journey would be free :D Download...

WW1 Gas Powered Buses
Saw this interesting photograph on a local Faceache group of a couple of buses converted to run on gas during WW1 :o .I see the fleet history lists AO-7096 as being converted but not 7081.I'm guessing the photo was taken in Kidderminster Origional post here https://scontent.fbhx4-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t...

Re: Dudleys Coaches to close at end of year
Dudley's had one coach in a white, blue and red livery with that branding, I always assumed it was a company they had taken over or an old name from the local area. I think you're correct that it was a company that Dudley's had taken over. There's a few photos on Flickr suggesting this such as the o...

Re: on demand buses for Bromsgrove
Not sure if it'll be anything like this but a very good video about on-demand buses in Sevenoaks by Geoff Marshall who does some very good videos by the way Mostly railway related but does a few bus ones too.

Re: "along the Salt Road" !
Looks like the stop flag man missed one, there is still an old first stop flag at rock hill, Brecon road stop towards bromsgrove  Still the old style sign. The hedge has grown around it and a conventional ladder wouldn't reach it.I wonder if the sign is languishing in a storeroom somewhere ga...

Re: Dudleys Coaches to close at end of year
Had to book the car in for an MOT yesterday and whilst looking on the Facebook page of where I take it I noticed they had a link to a new coach company on there. https://www.facebook.com/royalmotorwayscoaches The name and the livery seems to ring a bell I'm sure there was a coach company of that nam...

Re: Pandemic -- DD usage
Saw two StreetDecks in Bromsgrove Bus Station at the same time on Sunday which was a bit of a surprise.
