Re: FMR: Refurbs and Repaints
Rapid progress is being made on 67647. I understand the body men have been given overtime at the weekend in an effort to get it to the paint shop by Tuesday. Rumour is they want four finished during the six week school holiday... We'll see!

Re: FMR: Tridents Going to Kernow?
Worcester are still sending two double-decks to Cornwall but the second one will not be sent until 33042 is fixed, otherwise they will be one double-deck short when the schools are back in. Makes you wonder how long 33042 will be off the road...

Re: FMR: Refurbs and Repaints
Don't hold your breath just yet... 66699 was off the road with accident damage a few weeks ago and needed just about every panel down the one side replaced. This would have been a prim candidate to receive Urban2 on repair as the bodywork on that is generally quite poor (ex-Hereford bus, what do you...

Re: FMR: Tridents Going to Kernow?
I will try to confirm this when I get a chance. Wont be today as it's my day off.. woohoo! :P Need a day off to recover from my high-speed, late-night Service 420 last night as I didn't get home until about midnight... OK, wasn't quite in service but I did have passengers. My son has his first Servi...

Re: FMR: Refurbs and Repaints
An interesting change of direction for the refurbishment program. It'll be interesting to see an Enviro300 in Urban2.

Re: FMR Service Changes September 2016
Some additional information...
There will be timetable changes to Service 144 to try and help improve reliability. There has also been a review of the bus stops used by the 144 in Birmingham, and there are some changes.
I'll post more details about the Birmingham bus stops later.

Re: FMR Fleet Movements
I seem to remember that Enviro as being a decent one? It was in a bad accident while in service at Redditch in 2006 and stored in the body shop at Worcester for almost 3 years before going back to Alexander-Dennis to get its chassis sorted out. Hence it has much lower miles on the clock than all th...

FMR Fleet Movements
It's about time we started a thread for general fleet movements... This is what we know to be happening in time for the service changes in September. It has already been mentioned elsewhere on the forum that two of the three ex-London Tridents will be heading to Cornwall soon ( Topic Link ). Also in...

Re: Withdrawn Coach 20201
It depends on which rail company and how far they have to go. London Midland tend to be shorter journeys and they tend not to mind buses being used. They even requested double-decks for the recent Foregate Street to Droitwich Spa contract, for example. First Great Western ask for coaches irrespectiv...
