Re: Hay on Wye 2019

This is where BusTimes.org comes in handy again! Looking at Leicester's Fleet List - it suggests that all StreeDecks were out in service today - but one of them was only traced up until 08:14 this morning, suggesting it was pulled out of service at the earliest opportunity (to be sent to Worcester?...

Re: Hay on Wye 2019

One Leicester StreetDeck was at the garage earlier, ready for the X99 etc, which starts tomorrow. ( I couldn't see the fleet number).
Don't know how many we will borrow this year, but as 35159 is off the road, we might get another one same as last year, to cover tomorrow and Friday at least.

Timetables.

Probably a very minor change, is that all the timetables on the First Worcestershire website now have an "expiry" date of the end of August, instead of "until further notice". This could mean a lot of minor timing changes thereafter, or, could it just be a sensible way to encoura...

Re: TRACKING !

Maybe not weird. Could be that Midland Classic’s machines have similar or consecutive serial numbers and just been misassigned/mistyped on bustimes. Pretty sure that First, and Midland Classic, will know exactly where all their buses are! (And doubt they refer to bustimes for that information!) Goo...

Re: TRACKING !

An interesting "phantom" on the main live map today was a "Midland Classic Test Bus No.4" which appeared to be parked at Padmore Street for about 5 minutes !! I decided to go and check, as there has been plenty of interest to see in recent times -- and of course when I got there,...

33403 - "Rough"

Yesterday and today I've seen this Trident smoking more than it should, and today it

Re: Bus construction - good and bad.

http://www.route-one.net/articles/compliance/ADL_moves_quickly_to_address_E200__E300_suspension_issues/c Good timing is this article in today's Route One !! My guess is that the problems of shock transmission, noise and rattles in low-floor buses, is due to the low-floors and the need for the suspen...

Re: Price of single fare tickets on First bus Worcester services

:!: Thanks bmmoboy ! I have taken another look at the First Worcestershire website, and my revised understanding (or not) is as follows:- (1) - click on TICKETS (2) - click on TICKET PRICES (3) - scroll-down to the selection of six ticket types ( - which include "Unlimited Direct Debit" ti...
