Re: FMR Mercedes Citaro acquisitions
Having just zoomed-in on the photo, I see that this batch of Mercs are "air-conditioned", ( - IE more than just the drivers cab), and that FMR is "extolling" this virtue on the exterior. (Does this mean that FMR are going to maintain it and fix it every time it breaks ?? :D ) -- ...

Oldest Service Numbers
Can I assume that the 144 is WR depot's oldest service number ? - I believe it's not the original number for the B'ham service, which became the 144 "later", during a grand renumbering. - As an example, was the 417 given it's number at the same time ? (I realise this sort of topic "ge...

Re: Wood Farm Camp (144) Service.
I found my copy on eBay some years ago. Haven't seen another one listed for quite some time. Thanks Adam, I think I've made the mistake before, of thinking that if an item is on ebay, it will be also be shown as such on Google, but that wasn't the case today -- -- however I've just found a copy on ...

Re: Wood Farm Camp (144) Service.
According to "Round the Hills" by C J Davis (which I agree is an excellent book) the Tuesday morning facility on service 144 between Great Malvern and Wood Farm Camp disappeared in changes made on 7 October 1972. Can anyone tell me where I can get a copy of this book, please ? - I've trie...

Re: Padmore Street in 1985
Passengers used to like it when a DP turned up on a service. It was classy..... Yes it was. Mind you, I can remember in the 1950's, to cover a shortage of single deckers I imagine, some SLR prewar coaches being used on Malvern local services. With their steep steps, central manually operated slidin...

Re: Service X55 (1987)
Looking at the route shown, and without referring to my atlas, it looks to me to be a shame it was not successful -- -- was it (partly) a revival of a defunct coach service, and / or a defunct rail service, I wonder (?) Also, it seems a pity that such a small percentage of personal and family, long-...

Re: Autumn 2018 service changes/cuts
I was very surprised today, to see on the First website, a further change to the 363 from September 30th !! If my reading is correct, the (mon-fri) 10.55 from Upton to Worcester is replaced by one at 11.30. However, it appears to be the 363 that still arrives at Ryall at 10.50, same as now, but it ...
