20611 is indeed in WR garage, still in "Rail Air " livery, but as it's at the "bodyshop" end, a rub-down may be imminent.
Here’s a photo of it at Heathrow Terminal 5 on June 30th 2018 catching the summer sun

Re: FMR Mercedes Citaro acquisitions

There was very nearly a "Nimrod" liveried bus on the 11.15 Catshill today, I tried to swap it with my green Volvo on the 10.45 but to no avail, it was then spotted on the Catshill and swapped for a Trident before departure. I am dying to try one of the Citaros out on the open road, looks ...

Re: FMR Mercedes Citaro acquisitions

 it was only a matter of time! Meanwhile, these shots of Citaros in action on city service taken earlier this morning in Crowngate bus station; I’m liking that first one Tim, both rather vintage, one potentially here to stay for several years, the other (32066), potentially on limited time. Ni...

64033 is on the allocation sheet to go out today, so that will be the first spare bus used. Can’t see any going to Birmingham any time soon. They are still having teething problems, mostly electrical, and aren’t going too far from home.
Thanks Adam. Will look out for them in the new year then

Re: FMR Mercedes Citaro acquisitions

Any chance of a Citaro on the 144 this year or will it be 2019 now ? Haven’t seen any reports of the Spare ones out, but I’m guessing some withdrawals can take place with lower PVRs for the time being

Re: FMR Mercedes Citaro acquisitions

Canteen Gossip is that two of the newer Citaros will be painted in Salt Road livery, Well you have got me excited there :D As much as it's a shame to no longer have the variety of Volvo B7s, Tridents, Enviro 300s and Streetlites, Citaros and Volvo B7RLEs are the best suited second hand vehicles for...

Re: FMR Mercedes Citaro acquisitions

Any idea when they will be entering service ? Looking forward to seeing these on the 144, if the plan is still for some to be emission trapped for use into Birmingham City Don’t know, but I’d booked one for tomorrow morning to take on a photo shoot for the Marketing department. I had an email this ...

Re: FMR Mercedes Citaro acquisitions

Two more arrived at lunch time today, these are 64014 and 64016. Both are in standard Urban 2 livery. The second photo below shows 64014 parked with some of the others that have already arrived. 64016 was indoors being a bit camera shy. Any idea when they will be entering service ? Looking forward ...

Re: PEZ 3058 still at work in Bromsgrove 11 January 2018

Upto last Thursday , PEZ has been the mainstay of the Bromsgrove town services operated by Clearway/Wheelers for a couple of weeks as the Primo has not been seen by myself for some time. But the blue one has been used for three days now. We wait to see what appears on Monday !! Not somewhere...
