'Spare Bus' Citaros
Thought it may be worth splitting any continued sightings/discussions regarding the 'spare buses' into a separate topic.

Re: FMR Mercedes Citaro acquisitions
I saw 'Spare bus' 64035 on the 144A in Bromsgrove at about 17.30 today. Presumably these won't be able to run full 144 as not Euro 6 or have some had/due to have the upgrade?

Re: FMR Mercedes Citaro acquisitions
I remember there was a similar sideways rear seat arrangement on the WCC Woosh Mercs when they were on the W1 park and ride.

Re: FMR Mercedes Citaro acquisitions
Sorry if I’m being dim but why is 53207 having seatbelts fitted, presumably it will be the only WR solo to have them?

Optare Solo Design
I happen to be getting a bus to the hospital today and so I'm on one of the Worcester solos. It's a long time since I've used one and I happened to look at the design. It's a clever bit of design in terms of several things. - Being wheel forward so the front wheels don't encroach into the seating ar...

Re: FMR Mercedes Citaro acquisitions
Thanks for your reply willr7, it seems Mr Eggleton has since spotted our sumising and has provided an answer to 2 of the 3 points via Adam's post on the other thread. My second comment is more commercial and thus probably not something discussed publicly and thus difficult to have an answer to unles...

Re: FMR Mercedes Citaro acquisitions
Three slightly separate comments, sorry if they have been answered elsewhere or they are obvious/stupid questions. - I see the fleetlist shows 13 Mercs but there are only 8 '64' streetlights, does that mean there are other vehicle to go? Maybe the last of the Enviro 300s? - this is the second...

Re: "Today's Bone Shaker"
My vote is for streetlight 63360 has such a vibration from the engine I thought I was sitting in a massage chair!
The green Volvos generally are very comfy but what is it with the streetlights, much newer but don't seem to be anywhere near the same build quality

Sure enough, PEZ is back on the Charfords this morning!
It appears to refuse to give up!
