Re: September 2018 Timetable Book

although I must compliment them on their intelligence network as I received a job offer within hours of telling Worcester! I'm not sure 'intelligence' is the right word.... "negligence" is more like it !! and HAPPY BIRTHDAY Adam ! -- although I guess you are not a happy bunny at the...

Re: Worcester's DD usage.

I haven't yet finished doing my survey of WR's revised DD usage (from the 17th), but so far I have seen that the (AM) S4 has been a green Volvo single-decker (with standees) instead of a DD. - I hope BEO school are "ok" with this ! There have been no DDs at the depot at the same time, so I...

Re: "along the Salt Road" !

A further new (relevant) variation of what is happening in Britain's second city http://www.route-one.net/articles/Bus_routes/WMT_s_new_branded_buses_now_in_operation P.S. - Can anyone tell me if the "Salt Road" service still has it's dedicated rota of drivers, - or did that change with th...

Re: Autumn 2018 service changes/cuts

Tomorrow's the day. Plenty of publicity on Upton, but rather a lack of reaction on the Fifties. Perhaps it may come after the event. Anyway, there have been slight changes to the 564/565 service for Eckington, Birlingham, Wyre and Lower Moor. http://btckstorage.blob.core.windows.net/site15604/Sep%2...

Re: Autumn 2018 service changes/cuts

I would say that we now have a very efficient, core commercial operation at FMR, featuring just a very few subsidised journeys in Worcestershire, PLUS the East Herefordshire services, and I'll be very interested to see how many buses we have after the dust has settled (and imminent vehicles are in +...

Re: Autumn 2018 service changes/cuts

Waiting in Upton today for the 15.40 332, I saw the school-time 363 going the opposite way "rammed-full" with kids, IE standees, and although I think some of them got off in the town centre, there were about 6 people waiting to get on. - Could this get changed to a DD again I wonder ? AND,...

Re: 1999 DRM fleet list

Continuing the Bromyard theme - for a real challenge can anybody list all of Martin Perry’s fleet starting from 1 ending and 200 and whatever (including names)? I’ve still got a lot of blanks and pretty much given up all hope of identifying the “Dennis Sabre” (called “Blenheim” I think) that I used...

-- Does that mean that the PM 418 is likely to be a single-decker until the end of this season ??
Unlikely. It's inter-worked with other services and there is little point in changing it so near to the end of the season.
That's good ! - Thanks Adam.
