Surely they’ve not put the fares up already! (Or should that read from £0?)Rich82 wrote: ↑05:45 Wednesday 6th February 2019https://flic.kr/p/QQTKQP 67664 seen in Hanley Repainted although not very clean at all

Re: Disrupted services
Surely repeated failure to operate the timetable will lead to the Traffic Commissioner investigating - if it gets reported? Would expect that failures that are the fault of the company (insufficient staff employed) would result in reprimand if proven. Would also say the social media team (now in Lee...

Re: Service 23... A lovely double-deck route
(The only snag is "23" is my unlucky number -- -- can you ask Stagecoach to renumber it for me ?) Originally 73 (Gloucester-Newport), first cut back to Chepstow, then Lydney. Current route came about by adding on the former Dukes 721 (Lydney-Coleford) - that used to be run using Solos and...

Re: Service 23... A lovely double-deck route
You've conveniently answered my questions on Milkwall outstation (if part of Ross or Gloucs), and if you'll be doing the Forest routes without me asking! Will keep a look out if I'm around on Saturday. Neither a Stagecoach route nor double decker, but Lydney-Cinderford has similar charm for anyone s...

Re: Midland Red West memorabilia 1995/1997
I’ll join the ranks that would love to see any more old running cards if there are any still around - the interworkings always seemed a bit more complicated in the “old” days :-) Sadly can only just remember the last days of the Shropshire network. Quite easy to work out how Hereford and Kidderminst...

Re: 1999 DRM fleet list
...I’ve still got a lot of blanks and pretty much given up all hope of identifying the “Dennis Sabre” (called “Blenheim” I think) that I used to see a lot of back around 1997/1998! :-) From PSV circle 1999. 96 GVJ 878 1983 Bedford YMP Plaxton DP45F (ex UWG882Y c.6/97 name "Blenheim") Than...

Re: 1999 DRM fleet list
Move forward a year or so and he owned more low floor buses than FMR... Continuing the Bromyard theme - for a real challenge can anybody list all of Martin Perry’s fleet starting from 1 ending and 200 and whatever (including names)? I’ve still got a lot of blanks and pretty much given up all hope of...

Re: "Going in the wrong direction !"
Whilst the funding cuts definitely have hit bus usage, I think a significant amount of reputation damage was caused in Worcester in the 2001-2005 period when FMR went through the cycle of service cuts and fare rises every 6 months, and at the same time replacing the newer buses with ones that both l...

Mystery White Coach
On a rare visit into Hereford today and was passed by a white Plaxton Panther coach reg VO13AEP coming down Aylestone Hill. It had L plates on the front and rear and a big dent in the front nearside wheelarch. No operator name or address. Anybody know who it belongs to? When it comes to white Panthe...
