Re: Worcester Shrub Hill in December 2017.

Thanks for those, Tim. A bit of snow and semaphore signals help make DMU's and even IEP's look far more interesting.

Re: Redditch bus station Thursday 7 December 2017.

Diamond had a bad day in Walsall today!! http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/news/local-news/driver-saves-passengers-after-shocking-14012488 Mmm....not another! Am I right in thinking that more Diamond buses get consumed by fire than is the case with most operators and, if so, why? Is it a maintenance ...

Re: Hereford depot 144 working

The 144 on Bank Holidays in the 1950's was a bus spotters dream with duplicates running every few minutes, some only to Worcester but many through to Great Malvern and some the entire route to Malvern Wells. I don't recall ever seeing a HD bus on the 144 in my time although it clearly must have happ...

Re: Kidderminster Depot

As a postscript to the fuel leakage story, there's a picture on Facebook showing said incontinence pads and, BX07 KPP, the offending vehicle.

PS Sorry - only just seen the picture above!

Re: Kidderminster Depot

I heard this mentioned on the two pm news, I think that the No 2 service was mentioned and it appears that the "leak" went on for miles as opposed to yards . . . . so much so that a "gritting" lorry loaded with sand had to be utilised to contain the "leak" !! :o So own...

Re: Kidderminster Depot

According to local radio, a Diamond bus caused havoc in the Kidderminster area by depositing leaking fuel on roads this morning, including outside the police station. It certainly seems that they do have maintenance problems in both Redditch and Kidderminster.

Re: Diamond in and around Bromsgrove.

I see on Twitter, a Diamond bus was yesterday involved in a RTC with a light goods vehicle at the Kidderminster Road and Perryfields road junction in Bromsgrove. From the photo looks as though the bus has come off worst. It's an awful junction that needs traffic lights or a roundabout.

Re: 'Royal Scot' on Charter at Worcester 28 Oct. 2017.

Do you know I had completely forgotton about the Devonian being sometimes Patriot hauled although I still believe it was more usually a Jubilee. I can remember the slightly odd difference in routing between south and northbound trains because my grandparents lived in Leeds and when I used to go and ...

Re: DD12 Revival

I'd echo DD12's comments.

A fine looking vehicle indeed and it doesn't look at all dated to me.
