I've also fitted new engine mountings and stripped and resealed the timing case. The tool to install the seal was £700 🤫 Its not my first b9, we had a...

Re: 31782

Hi DD12. 31782 is here for an engine overhaul, however I'm in the midst of an engine rebuild on 69213 from Doncaster and I've got 36245 from Sheffield here in bits as well. The Volvo lorry is not part of the plan and isn't here to provide parts.. Mr Price and I have also been busy sorting the brakes...

Re: 6015

Thank you, I started back at Padmore Street 2 weeks ago... A rare bit of good news for First! Are you back to working your old days and times? If so I'll pop down and see you at some point. Hi Adam, I'm working late shift Monday to Fridays for the next 6 months. First job has been a full engine ove...

Re: 6015

Thank you, I started back at Padmore Street 2 weeks ago. (after 7 months away in the sun) I've been busy rebuilding an engine on a Volvo for Stoke this week so I'm not directly involved with the Daimler at the moment. There is a spare MOT test slot which is being kept open. Our tests are done at Mot...

Re: 6015

It's slowly being put back together. We are now working on a revised mot list. There's not much left to do to it.

Re: Former Enviro300s

Such a waste.. I love them. Brilliant engines, great gearboxes, simple air suspension. A far better vehicle than a million kilometre Citaro. I can't believe they're going to be cut up

Re: 6015

It was nice to finally get to drive it. With loads of mot tests to do we decided to free up the pit and create a bit of space. She's back in the body shop now awaiting a bit more attention.

Aah, Enviro 300's. My favourite bus to work on. It's a shame they're being scrapped now :|
