Re: Replacement Coaches for Worcester

I'll try and get some pics sorted on Monday Adam. It'll be on my phone though.

Re: Replacement Coaches for Worcester

It's apparently going to be repaired before it comes to Worcester... I've already got 67639 here in bits waiting for parts and 53802 needs an engine, so we could do without another dead bus at the moment whilst we're doing these and trying to sort the Citaros out

Re: Visiting Buses at Worcester

66845 now finished and safely back at Leicester. 67639 engine removed and partially stripped. It has broken the rings and damaged the cylinder block. It also has a lot of water in the sump oil due to badly corroded core plugs allowing coolant to mix with the oil

Re: Visiting Buses at Worcester

Yep she's all stripped down and requires : 6 pistons and liners, 6 inlet valves, an oil filter housing assembly, and an oil pump. It's broken the rings on 3 of the cylinders and badly damaged a liner. The inlet valves have regressed into the seats but I'm pretty sure I can save the heads (800 quid e...

Re: 67664

Let's hope 67664 doesn't go to stoke Is 53207 ready to go for it's repaint yet ? -- I quite fancy having a Herefordshire regular in Midland Red livery ! 67664 is staying at Worcester 53207 is still in bits. I'm doing 75-80 hrs a week and still cannot get to it. It's going to be there for some time

Re: 67665

Shame to see another one go, especially 665 as it goes well. Let's see how long it takes them to find reverse ☺
